North Bristol NHS Trust
North Bristol NHS Trust has opened a new administrative centre at Osprey Court in Whitchurch, Bristol. The new centre supports clinical services for children and young people in South Bristol.
Alder King Property Consultants acted on behalf of Country Estates to let Units 1 and 2 Osprey Court to North Bristol NHS Trust on a new ten year lease, off a quoting rent of £77,000 per annum. The Trust was represented by Inventures.
Units 1 and 2 are office premises which extend to 6,552 sq ft in total. Occupied by North Bristol NHS Trust's Community Children's Health Partnership, the premises will also act as an administrative base for Paediatric Doctors, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, Allied Health Professionals and their support staff serving the South Bristol Community.
Shane Dineen, senior consultant at Inventures commented: “The move forms part of NHS Bristol's and North Bristol NHS Trust’s aspirations of delivering locality based services that better meet the needs of children, young people and their families.
“The new office will support the clinical services for children and young people in South Bristol, which includes the Knowle Clinic and the Illminster Specialist Children's Centre on Illminster Avenue, which is run in conjunction with Bristol City Council and Footprints.”
Tom Dugay, surveyor at Alder King commented: “We are delighted to welcome the NHS to Osprey Court. This deal follows the recent letting to Mail and Print Services Ltd and leaves just one unit available to lease at the scheme. Due to the success of the scheme, developers Country Estates have decided to offer design and build opportunities at the site, and will build tailor made units for occupiers ranging in size from 2,500 sq ft up to 25,000 sq ft on a pre let/pre sale basis.”
