Country Estates head office located in Reading has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment. The offices have been completely re-designed in order to create an open plan, modern and professional workplace. The work commenced in January with original plans to be finished by Easter, but due to excellent progress finished four weeks ahead of schedule and is now completed.
The main office area now has an open plan feel with walls being knocked through and glass partitions being installed to separate individual offices. There is now a generous sized reception area for waiting visitors, and a large boardroom allowing for meetings to be held on regular occasions.
Graham Denton comments, “I am delighted with the final outcome, it’s hardly recognisable with the feeling of so much space generally making the offices feel somehow more inclusive. It is great to see people’s reactions to it when they visit for the first time since it was done. I would like to make a special mention to Kevin Herbert, Roger Patey, Craig Herbert and Ben Penney who were amongst those involved from start to finish ensuring a smooth delivery of the project leading to an early completion. “
